The NNMIEC Training Department will present
this required 8 hour course. The series is presented in PowerPoint and
will be highly interactive. Emphasis is placed on the significant
changes to chapters 1 through 4 of the 2011 NEC. Students are encouraged
to bring a copy of the 2011 NEC or 2011 NEC Handbook. Lunch is included
in registration price.

hour overview of NEC Article 250 will clarify many of the confusing
aspects of one of the most important and misinterpreted sections of the
Code. Presented in PowerPoint, the course is approved as Continuing

NFPA 70E
ELECTRICAL SAFETY COMPLIANCE

IEC Members: $55 Non-Members: $70
NNMIEC will present an overview of
basic electrical safety in compliance with NFPA 70E. The course will
detail the hazards of working on or near exposed energized parts, with
emphasis on approach and flash protection boundaries. Lockout/Tagout
procedures, shock protection and arc flash protection will be reviewed.
Approved as Continuing Education for EE-98J certification renewal.
